The Zambezi Queen Collection’s fleet of Chobe Princess houseboats has just undergone a complete refurbishment. Part of the Mantis Collection, the Chobe Princess fleet consist of 2 houseboats with 4 en-suite cabins and 1 houseboat of 5 en-suite cabins.

The revamp kicked off in November last year, and each houseboat has been updated with new dining room chairs and tables, Costa Nova plates and cutlery, new soft lighting throughout communal areas, white reflective ceilings, soft tan linens, new mattresses, and a nautical palette of  blue, grey, navy and white interior furnishings and decor to blend into the natural landscape.

The houseboats each offer a relaxed open plan lounge area bar and communal dining area, and an outdoor viewing deck with loungers and plunge pool. As the houseboats are part of an ecologically sensitive area, it’s a relief to know that they’re taking steps to care for the environment. All cleaning agents are from Greenworx’s range of eco-friendly cleaning agents, single-use plastics have been eliminated, with brown paper bags used instead of plastic bin bags, steel refill water flasks used, and all plastic straws banned. The Zambezi Queen Collection team has also introduced the new Healing Earth Range of biodegradable containers and 100% natural ingredients for the bathroom amenities.
