Within walking distance of Netcare Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital on Cape Town’s foreshore, the WINK Aparthotel has opened 30 of its fully-furnished, self-catering apartments.

The space is ideal for those that are looking for COVID-19 Quarantine stays, are healthcare workers, have been repatriated from high-risk countries, or require a place to stay before or after medical treatment. In fact, preference is given to those who need to be quarantined.

The apartments each have a kitchenette, but guests can also order in or opt for three packaged meals a day, that have been prepared and delivered by an accredited service provider.

In anticipation of occupation, the entire hotel has been ULV-fogged in line with National Health and Safety requirements and the stay includes a weekly cleaning service overseen and conducted by an assigned COVID-19 Health and Safety Officer.

Zane de Decker, MD of Flyt Property Investment, who own and manage WINK Aparthotel, says, “Corporate South Africa and her people need to be doing what they can, however they can, to support those in need during this time of crisis – we are happy to be able to provide a safe place to stay for those seeking quarantine premises.”
