Executive Chef Kerry Kilpin will this weekend welcome guests back to the fine dining Tryn restaurant at Steenberg on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The restaurant’s cocktail bar and vineyard terrace are perfect for a pre-dinner sundowner to whet the appetite. On offer at Tryn is the three course option for a starter, main and dessert, priced at R375, or the a la carte menu, all of which showcase touches of Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Guests kick off the meal with a pre-dinner amuse bouche, and also leave with Chef Kerry’s signature chocolate truffles as a parting gift. Starters include the signature steak tartare, tempura prawns, and mains feature sirloin and pulled beef with red wine jus.
