Based in Simon’s Town in Cape Town, Tintswalo at Boulders has created an exciting package for visitors to explore the beautiful underwater world on their doorstep where Craig Foster recently filmed My Octopus Teacher – a documentary that’s taken SA by storm.

The 3-day package includes a snorkeling safari in wetsuits through the kelp forests accompanied by a trained guide, guided kayaking in the sheltered bays of Simon’s Town, and ample opportunity to visit the penguins of Boulders Beach.

Two nights’ accommodation with breakfast is included at beachfront villa Tintswalo at Boulders, based in Simon’s Town. Sea activities are guided by the Shark Warrior Adventure Centre and take place in the marine protected area of the Table Mountain National Park. Snorkelers will glide through the mystical kelp forests to encounter the mysterious life beneath the waves where fish and other marine life sway in the flow of the currents around the reefs. A magical 2-hour kayaking excursion in single or 2-seater kayaks will include gentle paddling in the clear, turquoise sea and protected coves of Boulders Beach to watch the antics of the endangered African penguins and other seabirds.

The property currently has a package rate for South African residents, valid until the 31st of March 2021. R5250 per person sharing includes 2 nights’ accommodation, coffees & teas, breakfast daily, one brunch, one lunch, one dinner and two water-based activities, as well as afternoon snacks on day one, and canapes and a sunset cocktail on day 2.
