One of SA’s top wine festivals is turning 29 this year and will paint Summer Place in Sandton red, white and bubbly on the 4th and 5th of June. While there are an abundance of wine shows in South Africa, there’s something special about the Juliet Cullinan Standard Bank Wine Festival – it’s a must-attend event for connoisseurs and wine lovers looking for world-class South African wines.
The show has a limited amount of tickets and is well-curated, with exclusive, boutique wineries hand selected by Juliet Cullinan herself. You’ll find young guns and classic estates, from Swartberg to Stellenbosch, showcasing their latest releases, with each participating winery bringing something exceptional to the party. “Wine is not a one-size-fits-all approach it takes a personal connection. In providing a bespoke service, we are able to offer custom wines for exceptional cellars,” says Juliet. “Since every participating winery is carefully selected, it’s about both style preferences and quality as every label shows distinction. 2019 celebrates with a discerning array of “excellence” for 29 years.”
“The industry of wine is a competitive one, where each vintage brings change and new leaders. The wine world is about movement, and this petite festival showcases this year’s vintages, newly released brands, recently launched estates, and above all award winning labels.”
The 29th Juliet Cullinan Standard Bank Wine Festival will be held at Summer Place, Sandton, South Africa, on the 4 & 5 June 2019 from 17h00 – 21h30. Tickets are R220 online and R240 at the door – to purchase, click here.
