Boasting an exquisite view over the Sandton skyline, the San Deck at the Sandton Sun Hotel has reopened with a new look and a new food and beverage menu.

San Deck’s new layout takes full advantage of the spectacular setting, offering guests a variety of different seating options and spaces that create a sharing experience. A new rooftop garden area has been created through metal lattice screens, foliage and trees, different levels, lighting, eye-catching design elements and relaxed seating.

The new menu reflects its new space: seasonal and sustainable produce is utilised in a wide selection of snack and meal options, including sushi, oysters, sliders and calamari.

The beverage menu features South African spirit, beer, wine, MCC and cider producers. Local spirits include craft gin and rum, single grain, single malt, and blended whisky, brandy, vodka, agave, and liqueurs. The menu includes a range of local craft beers and ciders, and a wine list with a variety of champagnes, sparkling wine and a selection of Tsogo Sun’s auction wines. Imported premium spirits and bespoke cocktails offer variety for every occasion.
