tashas Rosebank has been revitalised and revamped. After a fortnight-long closure, the store has reopened its New York inspired doors.

Located in one the trendiest business nodes, Rosebank – a growing hub of business, travellers and shopping – the recently renovated tashas remains one of the area’s most popular outdoor eateries since it opened its doors on 15 November 2010.

The iconic book installation mid-store was created by artist Lisa Occhipinti, a visual artist who rescues and repurposes orphaned and outdated books and transforms them new art. It’s the key piece for the colour scheme of black and gold – taking it from the ceiling to the walls, vespa to the menu.

Pericles Valasis, owner of the tashas Rosebank store, has been with the group for over 11 years,” It’s great to be open again and see our customers and team. We’ve been bringing New York alive here every day since 2010. We’re looking forward another decade and more!”

The store currently employs a team of 45 people – including managers, Mandla and Dean, who have been with tashas for 11 and eight years respectively.

“Our incredible team brings tashas to life every day – they really are responsible for delivering the fresh ingredients, quality service and beautiful environments that tashas is famous for,” Pericles adds.

Since opening, the Rosebank store’s Classic Menu has developed a cult following among the shoppers, visitors and those who work in the area. The Classic Breakfast, Prego Rolls, and the tashas Caesar Salad all proving themselves over the years. But, true to the spirit of the big apple, some of the Signature Menu favourites are the New York Cheese Dog, the Mini Fried Chicken Burger and the Pork Robs.
