Spanish confectionery company Chocolates Valor has made its debut in South Africa. The brand is already present in over 60 countries, and is one of Europe’s oldest chocolatiers.
As a leading chocolate brand globally, and one that has seen mammoth growth in the last few decades, honouring the legacy of the family brand is of utmost importance.
Its proprietary bean-to-bar production process guarantees the highest quality chocolate, made using the finest raw materials, sourced exclusively from world-renowned cocoa-producing regions of Ecuador and Ghana.
Apart from its Premium chocolate bar range, the brand includes no-sugar-added and lactose-free chocolate varieties.
Established in 1881, Valor has dedicated almost 140 years to make the best chocolate. Founded by Valeriano López Lloret, the brand is still family-owned and run by fifth-generation, and great-grandson of the founder, Pedro López López.
With a chocolate museum, a cookbook and various chocolate shops, Valor takes its 8-step bean-to-bar process very seriously – and it shows, both in taste and appearance – in the final product.
The Chocolates Valor range will launch nationally through Dis-Chem, as well as several regions within the Checkers and Spar groups.
