We at Pritchitts have teamed up with the South African Chefs Association and leading wholesaler Del Trade to launch the first in our series of ‘Taste of the World’ recipe competitions!

As an international provider of dairy solutions across over 70 countries worldwide, we are looking to inspire working chefs and student chefs in South Africa to develop simple yet creative recipes using Pritchitts products.

Three lucky finalists will have the honour of competing in a live cook-off and will all receive a set of Global chef’s knives, while the overall winner will enjoy a fabulous five day trip for two to London and Ireland. The trip will take in the iconic sights of London, as well as sampling the more relaxed pace of life in Ireland. The overall winner will also win R20,000 cash for their kitchen unit!

HOW TO ENTER Any working chef or student chef in South Africa can enter. All you need to do is create a simple yet creative recipe for either a starter, main or dessert, using any of these six Pritchitts Products: Millac Gold, Creative Base, Chef’s Taste, Sure Whip Roselle Supreme or Millac Dairy Whipping Cream (see overleaf for more information). Please note recipes must serve 10 and have a maximum of 10 ingredients and 10 method steps. PRIZES

3 Finalists – The three finalists, judged to be the best entries by a panel from Pritchitts, SACA and Del trade, will take part in a two course live cook-off, in order to determine the overall winner. All three finalists will receive a set of Global chef’s knives.

Grand Prize - The overall winner will receive a trip of a lifetime to London and Ireland. The five day trip for two people will take in the iconic sights of London, as well as sampling the more relaxed pace of life in Ireland. The overall winner will also win R20,000 cash for their kitchen unit.
