Prenox Catering, a South African company, was established in 1996. The company was founded by a metallurgical engineer who was involved in the catering industry for many years.

Prenox identified a market opportunity in 2005. Even though the SA catering industry had access to both local brands and limited global brands, these products were largely singular product items and ranges. The opportunity was to develop an integrated range that would enable consumers to “design their own kitchen”.

Based on market experience and tried and tested technology the Prenox team set about developing the “Modular Range”. A range that would empower all users to create and design a kitchen, specific to their needs. The Prenox Modular 700 Series (MI 700) was launched in 2005. The range remains unique to Prenox and has expanded and developed over the years.

Prenox also manufacture a wide range of Convection Ovens.  The range extends from a 4 Pan to a 40 Pan, all developed with Convection and Combi Steam technology.
All products are designed and manufactured locally at the highly specialized factory in Pretoria. Laser Cutting technology is the backbone to the manufacturing process and key to its success.
Furthermore, Prenox offer design services to assist with any new kitchen set ups and have a dedicated after sales service team for onsite support.
