Cooking with coffee
• Always use good quality coffee beans when cooking with coffee - don’t skimp and us instant coffee as the resulting flavour is dull and artificial.
• The same rule counts for beans when cooking with them as drinking them – for best results, freshly grind beans before using them.
• Invest in a good quality stove top espresso maker - they produce good quality coffee fast.
• Take the temperature of the dish in to account: If it is going to be served hot, use coffee that is not to strong, if the dish is served cold, double up on coffee flavour.
• If whole coffee beans are present in the dio remove any bitterness.
