CHEF'S PRO was founded in 2005 by Gaby Schnetzer. CHEF'S PRO was born to provide an expert link between suppliers and Chefs.

Gaby was involved in the catering/hospitality industry for almost 20 years: She launched the Cape Town subsidiary of RAPS (an international spice and herbs manufacturer based in Germany) and became the group's National Sales & Marketing manager in South Africa. During that time Gaby worked very closely with the South African Culinary Team who Raps sponsored for 4 years. She also launched several projects for different suppliers of the catering industry and finally, Gaby managed a meat company. By then, she had gained the knowledge and expertise that is crucial for a competent and efficient link between suppliers and Chefs. Although Gaby relocated to East Africa, she is still very much involved in Chef's Pro. |

Annelize Bisschoff |
Annelize started her professional career as a Chef in 1999 and as a result of her hard work she was promoted to Sous Chef at one of the finest 5 Star hotels in Johannesburg. In 2010 Annelize changed her career path and took over the sales and marketing of products to the hospitality industry for a supplier. Her family then relocated to Cape Town and Annelize joined Chef's Pro. When Gaby left South Africa, Annelize took over from her and ever since provides our clients with the same top level service they are used to. Annelize has the huge advantage that she knows both sides of the industry. She is passionate, efficient, enthusiastic and a true perfectionist. |

CHEF'S PRO only market for top quality suppliers
We personally inspect all companies before they are signed on (production site, delivery vehicles, hygiene standards etc.); thereafter, inspections are carried out at regular intervals.

We assist in the training of the supplier's telesales personnel
For example, if any products ordered are not available, we are notified immediately and call you that you can make another plan. Gone are the days where you find out that one or more of the products that you ordered are out of stock only as your order is delivered.

Service standards of suppliers are kept at top levels
Service standards ought to be exceptional. In case of any problem, just inform us and we make sure that it's sorted out professionally and swiftly.

You receive weekly updates
You will receive from us weekly updates on any price changes or specials via email; all product or price changes are clearly highlighted to save your precious time.
How much does it cost to use CHEF'S PRO's services?
We do not charge any service fees whatsoever. You pay the same price for any product that you would be charged should you work directly with the suppliers.
Who do you order with?
Orders get placed directly with CHEF'S PRO. We in turn make sure that your order is delivered completely on time. In case a product is not available, we inform you immediately.
Who delivers your order/who do you pay?
The supplier delivers your order together with their invoice. We don't deal with any payments, that's directly done between you and the supplier.
