No longer a small operation and starting to gather momentum. Cape Food Services, a Food Services Company based in and covering the Garden Route has landed another prestigious catering contract. Strombolis Retirement Village in Plettenberg bay has awarded and outsourced to Cape Food Services. Cape Food will be tasked with Frail care catering as well as the dining room meals and functions for residents and staff.
“Average service levels are born elsewhere and raised here” says Bruce Gates, Director of the company. No business should confuse who is first in the pecking order- the Customer and clients are, full stop. We will continue to employ staff with true passion and catering flare, engage our clients with tailor made services and make it about that, and only that. “No room for average here” says Bruce.
“We established this business because we are enthusiastic about food culture and how people and food meet around a table. Food is a social catalyst and we want to be there around that dining room table playing our part and taking part”, says Bruce. “We have recently received our BBBEEE rating and we are “Proudly South African”. He continued to say, “Comments made by our clients, guests and customers, those are our performance indicators and not the profit and loss statement.
Surely if what is being said by clients and guests is positive and complimentary and the business is operated on sound principles, then the rewards should follow. They all go together like fine wine and mature cheese!”
